Krish at One!I have another photo shoot scheduled next week and I have learnt quite a lot so far. Here is the result of my last shoot, took a long to finish processing them, work has been really busy off late. As usual, please drop in your feedback!
Kids are difficult but funI never thought clicking kids would be a very challenging task. The challenge is to keep the kid stay calm, cheerful and easy. Here is the output of my recent assignment. Please do drop your feedback, I am still learning!
Clicking kids - I love it!It's amazing to click kids. They are very beautiful and their inquisitiveness towards the camera and sometimes the photographer is amazing. I had opportunity to click another cute kid in the neighbourhood. Here are the results: Krish in a big hat: First Portraits on D70It's fun to use a DSLR. It's powerful and *quick*. Time to look at some results - so here are some. Shrey (Ashwin Khariwal's nephew) My new photography gear: Nikon D70After 8 cameraless months I finally bought a Nikon D70 in Switzerland. I am looking forward to get into Sports & Wildlife photography. A lot of learning ahead. For now I am glad, I have a camera.
Experimentation with potraits"I have called the recovery van, they shall tow your Santro" said the police inspector. His junior was standing besides him explaining to me that they had been looking around asking people if they knew who owned this car. They had no clue about the whereabouts of its owner and hence they decided to tow it off to a near by police station. August 15th, all this for august 15th - Independence Day - when VIP movement is at the peak. The city is flooded with cops with fancy walky-talkies. On any other day, parking in that area would not be a problem. I apologized and requested him to let me park it elsewhere and not have it taken away by a recovery van. Initially he refused but after some drama he left me with a warning. I went back to the lab and saw the last A4 print coming out of the dark room. The results were brilliant not because I am a great photographer but coz Ramesh (owner of R K Pro Lab) had done an execellent job. It's said that 50% is photographers contribution and 50% is a dark room experts contribution to any picture. Well, he is doing his 50% very well and I hope to catch up with my bit soon. To keep the learning process on besides the time constraint, I have further experimented clicking people. My favorite and most cooperative subject has been Naksh (my sister's son). I catch up with him when I get home for lunch. The only place where the light is sufficient is my room's balcony. Just that area around it has been my field for my last 3 rolls. Naksh is now 13 months old. Please go on looking at the snaps and feel free to pass on your comments. Click on the picture to view it full size. Continue reading "Experimentation with potraits"My first roll on F55I got my first roll developed on my F55 last week. The results weren't great as I was still experimenting with it. Nevertheless, here are couple of pics that i liked. Karthik, at his office Click! - I now own a Nikon F55I'll be clicking a little more than usual these days. I recently bought a Nikon F55 (35mm SLR).
