Doing it without MS Office

MS Office is a great tool, there is no denial to the fact. However, I think it's very easy to live without it. And save a lot of Money.

After moving to macintosh the first good enough reason to stop using office products is availability of TextEdit. TextEdit is the basic text editor shipped with Mac. It is not only is capable of opening word files but it's amazingly easy to use.

Yes, this post is as disappointing as Finding myself a girl was. But really, only idiots wouldn't fall for a sexy powerbook. I myself have never been so excited about a gadget, well I think that's probably because I hadn't tried my hands on a apple product.

Finding myself a girl

I had lived over dozen of crushes until I stumbled upon her. Mind you, it wasn't easy at all. For a person like me, who is as handsome as Chunky Pandey at a Mr. World contest, and ofcourse, with an equally handsome bank balance.

The Past Glory

India has an amazing past. Science, Medicine, Math, Culture and so on. But I think we are still living in past while the rest of the world has move forward. This little cartoon is another example of our past glory. But if you relate it to the modern day, multi-tasking reminds me of Microsoft when it introduced Windows 3.1.

I think we should learn from the past and move towards the future. We are already loosing huge amount of IP (intellectual property).

Kinetic Flash Inspiration, Singapore

Singapore is small, beautiful, nice and neat. I was at M-Hotel participating in the Kinetic Flash Inspiration, a two-day Conference & Workshop organized by Asia Events. It was an event designed specially for Flash Developers. Frankly speaking, I’m not a Flash geek and I use Flash more for designing than Action Scripting. But I was there more as a Sponsor (ScreenSwift) and was looking forward to pick up some Action Scripting knowledge and see what designers and developers in Singapore were up to.
